Early Valentine's celebration ~ (^_^)

Yea! Today's outing is for our early Valentine's day celebration.. heheh...

Ah Ong bring Qing to River City Restaurant for dim sum lunch buffet @ $18.90+++ per pax
Lunch buffet is fro 11:30am to 2:00pm

Yeah.. the dishes almost here.. Ah Ong so happy

First dish to come - Shrimp omelette... got lotsa shrimp but not salty enuff...

The guo tie besides sticking to the pan, sticks to each other too... =(

The porridge was nice though.... oh yah, the carrot cake taste not bad though its kinda of sticky..

The stuffed chee cheong fun.... the sauce was good, but the stuffing is too tough, you break the chee cheong fun skin but the stuffing doesnt breaks with it

Pheonix claw wasnt nice. sauce was okay.. but dun know wat went wrong.. just not very good.

Steamed teochew dumpling.

Skin was sticky and rather thick and tasteless

But the fillings are nice and crunchy.

Its almost there...

Wah.. the char siew bao is one of my favourite

steamed hott hot.. the fillings are great!

Not worth the extra calories... the glutinous rice contains many ingredients, but taste wasnt fantastic and was gumy not sticky

The Xiao Long Bao was good, though cant taste the freshness of the meat, the juice was tasty

Ah ong's favourite of all..... he says the gu ru yok was very crispy and crunchy..

Waited very long for this vegetable dish to come out... it finally came after the dessert arrive...

Mushroom siew mai .. one of the best also.. the taste was very nice.. eaten with their chili sauce makes it even tastier..

Herbal jelly - Gui Ling Gao

very herbal indeed. but only get one serving each....

If craving for dim sum , will go back there eat again.

Even though the staff werent very friendly and staff to customer ratio is like 1 : 10 .


Any way, after eating our dim sum lunch, hehe.. Ah ong bought me valentine's day present liao....

Decided to catch a movie since we are both so Nuahz.....

Had a game of pool which AH ong says I am Lousy at....

So big slice.... with chunks of banana in it.. so delicious.. Ah Ong also like it

Ah ong say must gali pok chop chop eat becoz movie goin to start , so we eat very fast...
